There's a richness to the slang of Kids These Days. I can joke around about it and lol ironic l33t-speak, but it creates new words for new meanings and plays with language and I can't see it as a bad thing that's destroying Proper English. But business-speak is different. It exists, as you (and Orwell) say, to obscure meaning rather than to create it.
