How about a steampunk story of a mystical anarchist in a sprawling city-state called Carthage; a young man has come to the realization that his whole life has led to this moment when he must become the prophet of the New Jerusalem, the Visionary Commonwealth; and that in order to achieve this goal, he must go through a series of challenges like a knight-errant; but who really just wants to run away with the lovely barmaid, Moira? That would be a neat story, wouldn't it?
