What we do now is use one spare bedroom for the library and one for the office. We're very collectivist about it.

Living above a shop is nice, but not so nice that I want to go to the laundromat.

Yes, I remember that from the last (one) time I saw your current apartment last summer. It was/is a nice place, I understand why you are both so angered to be kicked out... especially the lovely roof access!

And, I retract the above statement re: $1050 for two being 'pretty damn good'. $525 each is simply okay for a shared apartment, although again, it looks like it makes for a lot of space..
