Is there anything* worse than motivational speakers?

I don't think there is. Maybe mimes, but it's a tough call.

* Well, anything short of genocide**.
** And people who nitpick about the definition of genocide.

Motivational speakers who are good at what they do are actually pretty awesome. There was one at my band camp and I still remember her because she was so hilarious. It was more like watching a stand up act than the stereotypical motivational speech.

This lady was at least 40 and wearing a cheerleader outfit. I haven't seen a lot of motivational speakers but that doesn't seem like the norm.

No, it's usually a large man who is either bald or has plastic-looking hair.
