Oh. That reply surprised me. I thought it would be something mind-blowingly exciting about his books! But maybe it was, only with reference to international law? hey ho - I'll look it up. I started to read things by him as you recommend him so much, but I haven't got round to buying a whole novel by him yet. It is on my mental list of things to remember to do soon.
His only non-fiction book was about international law. It's, alas, the only one I haven't read (it's near-impossible to get ahold of).
I find much of his non-fiction horribly dry, given the sheer brilliance of his fiction. I blame the Socialist Worker for making everything boring; when he writes for Leninology he's great.
